Chajul ceremonial servietta.

This circa-1970 servietta was hand woven on a back-strap loom in one red cotton panel. The surface decoration is supplementary brocade in silk. This is a rare and unique item is in very good condition. It was acquired from Ema and Carmen Tepeú at the La Fuente traditional textile market in Antigua. W 49 x L 83 cm plus fringes.
