Chajul cofradía huipil – ceremonial. (L112 x W89 cm opened) The Chajul cofradía huipil has a white base with purple silk embroidery around the collar. This very fine example was hand woven on a back strap loom in two panels joined by hand embroidered seams. The base thread is the “Aleman” rayon/cotton blend, favored for its drape.
