Hand woven on a back strap loom in one warp-striped cotton panel heavily decorated with supplementary brocade in zigzag patterns. Simple ikat dye patterns in indigo on the inside. Circa 1980. It is relatively large and in very good condition. Acquired from Sra. Juana Mateo Rosales at her “tienda” in Tinamit Maya in Panajachel. W 87 x L 91 cm plus fringe. (23-60) $ 100 or best offer.
